Rabat – Here is the weather forecast issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Friday, October 23, 2026:

– Rain or showers with a risk of thunderstorms over the Atlas Mountains and surrounding areas, and in some parts of the Saharan provinces.

– Showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast and the interior of the Souss region.

– Partly cloudy skies with occasional showers over the northern and central plains, the Oriental region, and the Rif Mountains.

– Moderate gusts of wind along the central coast and in the southern High Atlas Mountains.

– Minimum temperatures of around 5-11°C in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif Mountains, and the Oriental region; 17-22°C in the southern provinces, the southeast, the Souss region, Chiadma, and the Tadla and Rehamna plains; and 12-17°C elsewhere.

– Temperatures rising in the southern provinces and Chiadma, and falling or remaining relatively stable elsewhere.

– Calm to slight seas on the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and slight to rough along the rest of the Atlantic coast.
