Rabat – Here is the weather forecast issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Friday, October 16, 2026:

– Thunderstorms over the Rif Mountains, the Atlas Mountains and their eastern slopes, and the Oriental region.

– Showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast and the far south.

– Widespread low cloud cover in the morning along the Atlantic coast and plains, and the Mediterranean coast, with drizzle or fog patches in some areas.

– Moderate gusts of wind along the southern coasts.

– Minimum temperatures of around 4-10°C in the Atlas and Rif Mountains, 10-15°C in the Oriental region and the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains, 22-25°C in the interior of the Gharb and Souss regions, the Tangier region, and the South, and 15-22°C elsewhere.

– Temperatures rising in the Oriental and Southeast regions, and falling or remaining relatively stable elsewhere.

– Seas slight to moderate on the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and along the Atlantic coast.
