abat – The Republic of Kenya commends the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and lauds the Royal initiatives in favor of intra-African development.

In a Joint Communiqué issued following his talks held on Monday in Rabat with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi praised His Majesty the King’s leadership and lauded the Royal initiatives, particularly the opportunity provided by the Royal Initiative for the Sahel. This initiative aims to facilitate Atlantic Ocean access for Sahel countries by linking them to transport and communication networks of their regional environment.

Mudavadi also welcomed the enlightened Initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI regarding the Atlantic African States, which seeks to turn this space into a geostrategic framework for cooperation and pragmatic consultation.
